Founded in Mainland China

In 2017, Impact Hub Shanghai broke ground in China. As the first Impact Hub in Mainland China, it takes the lead to build sustainable innovation ecosystems in China and around the world through innovation consulting, startup support, impact communication, impact investment, and research.

Became a certified B-Corp

In 2022, Impact Hub Shanghai became a certified B-Corporation.

Around the world, the Impact Hub Network is working with companies on ESG, public institutions on social innovation, and entrepreneurs on locally rooted solutions - proving that co-creation leads to a more just and regenerative future. Opened 100+ Accelerator cohort

Applications for Cohort 8 of the 100+ Accelerator are officially open. The program was created to accelerate the growth of startups developing critical sustainability solutions. Impact Hub Shanghai is the empowerment partner of the AB InBev China 100+ innovation lab.

Co-hosted SCIP⁺ contest

The 2026 "SCIP⁺" Green Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest is now open for global applications. Co-hosted for the 8th consecutive year by Impact Hub Shanghai, the contest focuses on future materials, future energies and future environment to source innovative solutions worldwide.
