Supported inclusive climate finance

As part of its goal to promote a just energy transition, KINETIK provided grant funding to six civil society organisations to expand access to climate finance to women, people with disabilities and other under-represented groups.

Held knowledge-sharing event

The six grantees met in Surabaya for a knowledge sharing event. Each of the grantees shared insights from their projects and discussed climate mitigation, financing approaches, key barriers and opportunities and green entrepreneurship.

Hosted climate finance panels

A panel explored climate finance in Indonesia and reflected on where inclusion fits within the climate finance framework. A second panel discussed inclusive climate finance for green micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
