B Corp certification received

HPE Growth officially received its B Corp certification in December 2022. Receiving a B Corp certification is described as a recognition of HPE’s ongoing efforts to balance profit and purpose with a verified and trusted standard.

Joined B Corp community

In 2022, HPE Growth joined a community of more than 6,000 certified B Corps worldwide.

ESG integrated in investment process

HPE Growth has fully integrated ESG in its investment process. ESG risks, opportunities and performance are assessed as part of due diligence and are taken into account throughout the investment assessment, decision-making and post-investment monitoring process.

Annual sustainability reporting

HPE Growth annually informs investors and stakeholders on how ESG matters are developing in its portfolio companies and within its own organisation. It published a 2024 report and a Sustainability Report 2023.

PRI signatory since 2009

HPE Growth states that it has been a signatory to the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment since 2009.

Scope 3 reporting progress

In its 2023 Sustainability Report, HPE Growth said that 70% of its portfolio companies now measure their material scope 3 emissions, compared with 20% in 2022.
