Honeymoon Studios Sustainability Actions

Made-to-order production

We operate on a made-to-order basis, ensuring no deadstock or excess garments go to waste. Every piece is meticulously cut to minimize fabric waste, with offcuts repurposed into appliques, trims, or samples. Scraps that can’t be reused are responsibly recycled.

Repairs and overdyeing

We also offer repairs, garment overdyeing, and guidance on caring for your pieces to extend their lifecycle.

Supports local artisans

We proudly support local artisans and traditional techniques, hiring skilled tailors and seamstresses to create each piece. By preserving these honoured skills, we celebrate the artistry that goes into every Honeymoon garment.

Minimal packaging

Our packaging is minimal, recyclable, or reusable. Whether it’s recycled tissue paper or protective garment bags designed to be kept for years, we aim to reduce waste at every step.

Aftercare guidance

We’ve loved being a part of your special day, and we want your pieces to stay beautiful for years to come. Here’s how to care for them so they can be treasured by your family for generations.

Acknowledges Traditional Owners

Honeymoon acknowledges the Traditional Owners, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, as the custodians of the land we are on. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
