What do our labels mean?

GSV Ventures’ sustainability, ESG, responsibility, impact, and environment pages currently contain no substantive published content beyond a “Coming soon” notice. The available source material does, however, show GSV Summit positioning education access and innovation as its core mission, including the belief that all people deserve equal access to the future through high-quality learning. A 2025 announcement also describes the combination of Bett and GSV Summit as creating a larger education innovation community, with a stated focus on connecting ideas, communities, and capital to unlock opportunity at scale. Launched GSV Summit in 2010

The GSV Summit was founded in 2010 and in partnership with Arizona State University started the ASU+GSV Summit. The North Star of the Summit from its origin is the aspiration for education technology to give everyone the opportunity to participate in the future through access to high-quality learning.

Hosted global education events

The united platform of Bett and GSV will host events on four continents with over 100,000 participants. Bett now hosts annual conferences in London, São Paulo, and Asia with over 90,000 attendees and over 70 Ministries of Education.

The ASU+GSV Summit is described as the premier global convening for entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, educators, workforce leaders, and policymakers transforming the $8 trillion education and skills sector. The Summit is a platform for connecting ideas, communities, and capital to unlock opportunity at scale.
