Goodly Gosh Sustainability Actions

B Corp certification

Goodly Gosh completed its B-Corp Certification in 2020 and re-certified earlier this year in 2024. It says the certification reflects its values and its commitment to social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

Donates sales revenue

Goodly Gosh donates more than 2% of its sales revenue to charities supporting social and environmental causes. It also encourages, participates and volunteers in events that aim to bring awareness about social and environmental issues and injustice.

Plastic-free packaging

The company says its packaging is plastic-free, except for Leaf Tableware, and is made by using simple recycled paper where possible. It also uses plant-based inks or minimal colours as possible, and says it recycles all the packaging it receives in shipping orders.

Ethical sourcing practices

Goodly Gosh says it values ethical sourcing by valuing its suppliers, making sure they are compensated fairly for their efforts, and not putting undue pressure on them to achieve low costs. It says it does not use suppliers who use slave or forced labour, or child labour, and gives preference to small suppliers, organisations supporting social causes, and those run by women.

Long-lasting product design

When working on a new product or project, Goodly Gosh says it looks for environmental problems created by everyday products. It creates and designs products that last a long time, and says poor quality products need to be replaced often, which is not a sustainable solution for the planet.
