Good & Proper Tea Co Ltd is a London-based tea company that says it set out “to do things properly” from the beginning, with a focus on quality, ethics, traceability and long-term relationships with producers. Its sustainability approach centres on sourcing whole leaf teas seasonally, paying well above Fairtrade prices across its core range, and working with producers in places including Assam, Darjeeling, Japan and Malawi. The company says much of its tea bag range is sourced from Rainforest Alliance–certified estates and that it publishes an annual Impact Report. It became a certified B Corp at the end of 2023 and uses the certification framework to guide governance, workers, community and environmental decisions.
