Go-To is a skincare brand that mainly talks about products and skin results, not sustainability. In the material provided, there is no clear sustainability report, no public climate target, and no third-party ESG rating for the brand itself. The strongest sustainability-related signal is that some product pages mention a refill option, which can help cut packaging waste. There is also a separate article about the brand’s ownership history, but it does not add any clear ESG detail. Overall, there is too little independent evidence to say much about Go-To’s sustainability performance, so the picture is mostly unclear rather than positive or negative.

Go-To Sustainability Actions

Offers a refill option

Go-To’s website shows at least one product with a refill label, including its facial cleanser. A refill system lets customers reuse the same container and buy less new packaging over time. That can reduce waste compared with buying a full new bottle each time. The material does not explain how broad the refill range is, how the refills are packaged, or how much waste this saves, so the environmental benefit cannot be measured from the available information.

Go-To Sustainability Commitments

2021

In 2021 our tubes will transition over to recycled plastic (PCR) and will be recyclable.

Sustainability is a core pillar for Go-To, and one that we are constantly reviewing, researching and reevaluating. For example, soon you will see some key products move over to Ocean Waste Plastic (OEP) - recycled plastic that removes plastic from our oceans 1:1. In 2021 our tubes will transition over to recycled plastic (PCR) and will be recyclable. We will move to glass where we are unable to use OWP or PCR in an effort to further reduce single use plastic, but in honesty, even glass comes with its own downfalls. We are a (proud! Yelly!) member of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO). This is a co-regulatory, not-for-profit organisation that partners with government and industry to reduce the harmful impact of packaging on the Australian environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Has Go-To published a sustainability report?

Confidence: Low. As of September 2026, Go-To has not publicly shown a sustainability report in the material provided. The available pages focus on products, reviews, and brand history rather than environmental data, targets, or progress updates. That means there is no clear public document here that explains the brand’s impact on packaging, emissions, or sourcing. Consumers who want a fuller picture may need to ask Go-To directly for any report, policy, or impact update it may have.. Sources: Go-To, Sustainability Tracker - https://gotoskincare.com, https://sustainabilitytracker.com/brand/go-to/

What is Go-To's sustainability rating?

Confidence: Low. As of September 2026, Go-To does not have a clear third-party sustainability rating shown in the material provided. Good On You, which rates fashion, beauty, and retail brands using public evidence, is listed as a source platform but no Go-To score appears here. That means there is not enough independent information in this set to give a reliable rating. Consumers who want a formal assessment can check whether Go-To has been reviewed directly by rating bodies such as Good On You.. Sources: Good On You, Sustainability Tracker - https://goodonyou.eco/, https://sustainabilitytracker.com/brand/go-to/

What sustainability certifications does Go-To have?

Confidence: Low. As of September 2026, no sustainability certifications for Go-To are shown in the material provided. There is no evidence here of B Corp certification, organic certification, or other independent labels that would verify environmental or social claims. A certification is a check by an outside body, so the absence of one does not prove poor practice, but it does mean the brand has not publicly shown that kind of proof in this set. Consumers can ask Go-To whether any product or packaging certifications exist.. Sources: B Corp, Sustainability Tracker - https://www.bcorporation.net/certification/, https://sustainabilitytracker.com/brand/go-to/

What is Go-To's carbon footprint?

Confidence: Low. As of September 2026, Go-To has not publicly disclosed a carbon footprint in the material provided. There are no figures here for emissions from making products, shipping them, or running the business. A carbon footprint is the total greenhouse gas pollution linked to a company’s activities, usually measured in carbon dioxide equivalent. Without published numbers, it is not possible to compare Go-To’s climate impact with other brands. Consumers can ask the company whether it measures and reports emissions.. Sources: Go-To, Sustainability Tracker - https://gotoskincare.com, https://sustainabilitytracker.com/brand/go-to/

Is Go-To's packaging sustainable?

Confidence: Moderate. As of September 2026, Go-To shows at least one refill option on its website, which suggests it is trying to reduce packaging waste for some products. A refill lets customers keep the same container and buy less new packaging over time. However, the material does not show whether the rest of the range uses recycled, recyclable, or compostable packaging, so the overall picture is incomplete. Consumers who care about packaging should check which products are refillable and ask what materials the brand uses across the full range.. Sources: Go-To, Sustainability Tracker - https://gotoskincare.com, https://sustainabilitytracker.com/brand/go-to/

Is Go-To ethical on labour and supply chain issues?

Confidence: Low. As of September 2026, the material provided does not include clear public information about Go-To’s labour standards, supplier checks, or worker protections. There are no independent reports here on wages, factory conditions, or supply chain traceability. A supply chain is the full path a product takes from raw materials to the customer, and transparency on it helps people judge whether a brand is ethical. Because that evidence is missing here, consumers may want to ask Go-To for its supplier policy or code of conduct.. Sources: Go-To, Sustainability Tracker - https://gotoskincare.com, https://sustainabilitytracker.com/brand/go-to/

What is Go-To doing about sustainability?

Confidence: Low. As of September 2026, the clearest sustainability-related step shown for Go-To is a refill option on at least one product. That can help cut packaging waste because customers reuse the same container. Beyond that, the material does not show a public climate plan, sustainability report, or independent certification. So Go-To’s sustainability work is visible only in a limited way here. Consumers who want more detail can ask the brand whether it has wider packaging, sourcing, or emissions goals..
