Circle programme launched

With the Guzzini Circle programme, we have introduced articles made from post-consumer recycled plastic and bio-based plastics derived from plant biomass waste. The bio-based content is assigned using the ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) mass balance approach.

Reduced waste in production

By applying circular economy principles we have reduced waste almost to the point of eliminating it, making the Guzzini plant at Recanati a high-efficiency complex and covering part of energy consumption with renewable power.

Annual Impact Report

Durable recyclable products

We have always produced durable items from recyclable plastic, and now they also contain high percentages of recycled or bio-based material.

More sustainable food containers

In record time, Guzzini and Borealis were able to bring to market a new series of more sustainable food containers. These durable, food-safe receptacles are made using grades from the Bornewablesâ„¢ portfolio of premium polyolefins manufactured with second generation renewable feedstock.
