Cyclepond fabrics are recycled fabrics woven from fishing nets and incorporated into many Fishpond products. The company says it has new sustainability goals and recycling efforts to reduce the company’s footprint and assist in conserving natural resources.

Fishpond founder John Land Le Coq said the company is "a voice to reach out to Washington" and that "Habitat is the key word." He said he wants people to be conscious of what habitat means and noted that habitat is dwindling in America.

Product care guidance

Fishpond provides product care instructions for its gear, including how to care for waxed canvas bags, Thunderhead packs and bags, and Cyclepond fabric. It recommends rinsing packs and zippers with fresh water, allowing bags to dry completely before storage, and using lubricant wipes to maintain TRU Zip closures.
