Reduced electricity consumption

Through thoughtful adjustments within our office environment, we've managed to decrease our electricity consumption by an impressive 13% YOY through April 2024 and a further 2.5% through April 2025.

Participates in community solar

We're proud to be one of the first businesses participating in our local community solar project with Clark Public Utilities. We've invested in owning a portion of shared solar that generates the equivalent of 10 kW of clean and renewable production with solar panels are placed optimally at the Port of Camas-Washougal in conjunction with other business, residential and government energy users.

Uses Green-e® Energy RECs

To complement our solar energy generation investment, the remainder of our annual energy consumption is certified renewable through Green-e® Energy Certified RECs that support Traverse Wind Farm in Oklahoma. RECs play an important role in accounting, tracking, and assigning ownership to renewable electricity generation and use.

Supports tree planting

We at Exquisite Crystals are thrilled to support Friends of Trees in their Millionth Tree campaign. In April 2025, Friends of Trees reached an awesome milestone: 1 million trees and native plants.

Support 2025 climate projects

Our supported 2025 Projects include: A-Gas V12: The project prevents super-polluting hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) from venting into the atmosphere and avoids the need to manufacture virgin refrigerant gases. Traverse Wind Farm Energy Attribute Certificates: At 999 megawatts (MW) of capacity, the Traverse facility is one of the largest wind farms in the United States.

Retire RECs over 25 years

Over the expected lifespan of 25 years, the Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) produced through this project will be retired on our behalf to ensure accurate environmental accounting.
