Sustainability in core strategy

Eshuis Accountants en Adviseurs embraces sustainability and has made this part of its core strategy since 2015. The company is guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the B-Corp Certification and believes that embedding sustainability in a company’s culture and strategy is the key to getting it right.

As a certified B Corporation, Eshuis says it meets high standards for social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability and actively encourages clients to explore the value of impact-driven entrepreneurship. PrimeGlobal also noted that Eshuis achieved B Corp certification on August 2, 2022.

Impact framework for SMEs

Mark de Lat, a partner at Eshuis, runs the firm’s dedicated sustainability service line and has created Eshuis’ Impact framework, which is described as a transformational tool for SMEs wanting to become more sustainable. Since 2020, Eshuis has trained nearly 60 companies and 100 participants in using the B-Corp standard.

Eshuis continues to lead the way as one of the founders of the B-Corp learning communities, together with Saxion University of Applied Science.

Foundation supports young people

Its Eshuis Foundation is also helping the next generation which supports initiatives for young people who are focusing on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, recently helping a school project with reusing electric cords and wires.
