Carbon balanced printer

We are a Carbon Balanced printer with the help of Carbon Balanced Paper offsetting not only our paper production with the World Land Trust but also our business operations.

FSC and PEFC paper

We are able supply paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council®(FSC®) or Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC). These products use timber from verified well managed forests.

Tree planting with Woodland Trust

Eight Group rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty, helping to plant a whopping 13,000 trees in just one day with the Woodlands Trust.

Recycling paper and ink

One of our main waste products is paper, whilst we have always had recycling bins in our Nottingham warehouse these have now been introduced to our print room and offices. With Eight Days being a Printer, Ink is another one of our largest resources which is why we refill and recycle our ink cartridges.

Electric car charging

We now have 4 electric car charging ports in our Nottingham car park to encourage, promote and facilitate easy greener travel. Offering free electric car charging for all visitors and employees.

LED lighting installed

We have switched all possible lighting in our Nottingham print and mailing house to LED. With auto lights in many of the main areas and parts of the office to help ensure lights are not left on unnecessarily.

Cycle to work scheme

The cycle to work scheme allows employees to purchase bicycles with a discount and the cost of the bike then comes out of their salary removing paying Tax and national insurance on the cost.

Wildflower planting pledge

Pledging to help plant 1 hectare or 9375 square metres of local wildflower meadows. These carbon storage hotspots capture twice as much carbon as forestry.
