B Corp certification

ECI announced B Corp Certification in November 2023. It said the certification made its ESG standards public and represented a commitment to what it wants to do on ESG. ECI described B Corp as a benchmark from which to make further progress.

Launched first Impact Report

ECI launched its first Impact Report on 9 December 2024. It said the report set out the five areas where it is most focused as an organisation: decarbonisation, DEI, employee engagement, cyber and charity.

Signed ESG Data Convergence

In 2025, ECI streamlined data reporting and improved quality by signing up to the ESG Data Convergence Initiative and moving to the Novata platform for data collection and benchmarking. It also advanced carbon footprint tracking across the portfolio.

Launched charity partnership

ECI announced a new charity partner, the Wilderness Foundation, in May 2025 and launched its first fundraising initiative with the charity in July 2025.

ECI said it rolled out updated family and caregiving policies following feedback from its employee engagement survey.
