What do our labels mean?

DP Dental states that sustainability is part of its core values of People, Purpose, and Planet. It describes itself as the first dental practice in Singapore and Asia to achieve B Corp certification and says this certification reflects social and environmental responsibility across governance, workers, customers, community, and the environment. We have signed the UN Global Compact’s Pledge for the Planet.

Digital and paper reduction

By digitising patient records, we have been able to cut down on paper use and material waste. By using digital technology to scan patient bites instead of taking physical impressions, we have considerably reduced the use of plastic trays and bite registration materials.

Reduced clinic plastic use

We have been phasing out single-use plastic in our clinics and switching to paper cups.

Bamboo toothbrush promotion

We actively encourage and promote the use of bamboo toothbrushes, which are eco-friendly and biodegradable.
