B Corporation certification

As a Certified B Corporation we follow social, environmental and governance best practices. We strive to continuously improve our sustainability standards and use the recertification process as a framework to hold ourselves accountable. We’re currently in the top 10% of all B Corporations overall and in the top 5% of companies (with 10-49 employees) in the Environment score.

Cradle to Cradle product certification

We certify products according to the Cradle to Cradle Certified® program. This means that we follow the strictest sustainability requirements according to the world’s most advanced science-based measures.

CarbonNeutral® certification

At Dopper, achieving CarbonNeutral® certification is just the beginning! We have striven to minimize our carbon emissions and offset what is left.

Donations to water projects

Ever since the sale of the very first Dopper bottle, we have donated part of our revenue to safe drinking water projects and combating the harmful effects of single-use plastics.

Partner conduct standards

Our business only works because our people and partners can do their job safely while being treated fairly. Not only are we a certified Great Place to Work we also adhere to the full amfori BSCI Code of Conduct, and only work with partners who do the same.

Policy lobbying

We lobby them to make decisions that support the increase in access to safe drinking water, ban packaged water and push for a circular economy.

Digital Product Passport

In 2024, we created a Digital Product Passport for every Dopper bottle and accessory. The Digital Product Passport is an industry first and enables everyone, and anyone, to track a Dopper product’s lifecycle: from inception to end-of-life.

Bever bottle recycling program

In 2024, we partnered with Dutch retailer, Bever, to launch a program to recycle old, damaged or unused Dopper bottles. We’re currently working to turn all returned Dopper bottles into raw materials to be used for new products.

Product design choices

Every product choice we make is based on sustainability. Yes to safe colour pigments, no to endless colour variations. Yes to an easy-to-recycle three-part design, no to layering materials that make recycling a nightmare. Yes to 90% recycled steel for our Steel collection, no to lead in our Insulated collection.
