DOMI Sustainability Actions

Energy Prosperity Project

Since 2015, DOMI Earth has initiated the Energy Prosperity Project. By leveraging corporate and government resources, it has assisted over 3,000 disadvantaged households in Taiwan to replace old, energy-consuming lighting with energy-efficient LED lights. This initiative helps reduce the high electricity costs for these households, improving their quality of life and providing hope for change, while simultaneously reducing carbon emissions for the environment.

Children's energy education

DOMI Earth recognizes the importance of educating the younger generation about sustainability. It has developed a series of educational programs, including the "Annual Parent-Child Green Tree Party," storytelling sessions with the "Electricity Monster in My Home" picture book, "Handmade Energy-Saving Timer" workshops, and the "Carbon Reduction Task Force" board game. These activities aim to instill energy knowledge in children from a young age.

Paperless billing conversion

DOMI Earth works with bank consumers to convert paper bills into electronic bills, significantly reducing paper waste. It also promotes the reduction of disposable items and fosters a wave of consumption awareness towards a sustainable economy from the consumer side.

Tree planting activities

DOMI Earth undertakes widespread tree-planting projects, which not only sequester carbon but also enhance local biodiversity. The company says these activities are part of its efforts to promote sustainability and resilience and to drive reductions in carbon emissions.

SME sustainability white paper

DOMI has partnered with Swedish sustainability researcher Miriam Garvi to release the Sustainable Business Model Journey White Paper. The white paper combines theoretical research with over a decade of practical experience in sustainability, providing SMEs with strategic guidance on overcoming key pain points and integrating sustainability into their business models.

Corporate tree-planting event

Ke Ding Enterprises collaborated with DOMI Earth on March 23 to conduct a tree-planting event in Yilan County, planting 150 Machilus trees. The event used public transport, eco-friendly products, reusable water bottles and utensils, and was expected to reduce carbon emissions by 3,000 to 4,000 kilograms.
