Released 2024 sustainability report

Alltech has released its 2024 Alltech Sustainability Report, which demonstrates the actions the company is taking to advance its purpose of Working Together for a Planet of Plenty®.

Cut Scopes 1 and 2 emissions

The company achieved double-digit business growth while cutting its Scopes 1 and 2 emissions by 7.8% in 2024. Since 2021, the company has reduced these emissions by 26%.

Invested in energy projects

Alltech invested $2.04 million in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects this year, resulting in a decrease of 3602 metric tonnes of CO2-e. Over the past three years, the company has invested a total of $13 million in 40 projects, contributing to an overall reduction of approximately 21,000 metric tons of CO2-e annually.

Expanded zero-waste practices

The company has expanded its zero-waste-to-landfill practices, with five facilities achieving full zero-waste status by 2024.

Introduced water monitoring strategy

Alltech introduced a new strategy to monitor water usage, identify high-consumption sites, and implement conservation technologies as part of their commitment to water conservation.

This year, the company also completed 57 product life-cycle analyses, bringing the total number to 139.

Alltech has achieved compliance with the European Union’s Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and has created policies to address deforestation for future adoption.
