ESG reporting and compliance

The Associate Manager, ESG Compliance and Reporting oversees sustainability initiatives and ESG data management. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional projects, managing ESG reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role also oversees the collection, validation, and analysis of ESG data across multiple functions and prepares ESG reports, presentations, and disclosures to senior management.

Monitored sustainability regulations

The role includes monitoring and interpreting emerging sustainability regulations, including EPR, CSRD, and California’s SB 253/261. It also works with Legal, Finance and Brand teams to ensure all sustainability claims and filings meet jurisdictional requirements.

Updated internal sustainability policy

The Associate Manager, ESG Compliance and Reporting assists in developing and updating internal sustainability policies.

Multi-year investment plan

In August 2023, Crate & Barrel Holdings unveiled "Bring it Home," a multi-year investment plan centered on the customer experience. The plan includes investments in talent, technology and infrastructure, and says these investments stretch across the entire company from internal efficiencies and sustainability to the customer shopping journey online, in-store and in the home.

Optimized supply chain

The new direction also aims to optimize the supply chain with a proprietary process that maximizes efficiencies leading to an improved customer experience and reduced carbon footprint.
