CPA Australia Sustainability Commitments

2050

Reach net zero emissions

CPA Australia says it aims to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, or sooner, within its organisation. The pathway includes steps on energy use, waste, travel, and supply chains. It also says the organisation will support members and stakeholders in reducing emissions and improving sustainability.

2027

Embed ESG in strategy

CPA Australia says its ESG strategy is part of its organisational strategy for 2022 to 2027. The strategy aims to bring ESG into all activities so the organisation can meet the needs of members, employees, and other stakeholders. It also includes regular ESG monitoring, reporting, and assurance, which means checking performance and getting independent review where needed.

2026

Continue ESG live streams

CPA Australia has scheduled a Global ESG live stream series for 2026. The sessions will cover systems thinking, the links between climate, nature, and social impact, and climate reporting under AASB S2, which is Australia’s climate disclosure standard. The series is meant to keep members up to date with changing ESG rules and practice.
