Inaugural Sustainability Report

Citadel Drilling presented its inaugural Sustainability Report and said it is committed to driving positive environmental, social, and governance (ESG) outcomes in its industry. It stated that it is committed to continuously improving its environmental performance, prioritizing the health and safety of its employees, and promoting transparency and accountability in its governance practices.

Reduced carbon footprint

To achieve its ESG goals, Citadel said it has implemented a number of initiatives, including reducing our carbon footprint, investing in sustainable technologies, promoting diversity and inclusion in our workforce, and engaging with local communities to ensure we are meeting their needs and expectations.

Green Business Certification

The Glendale Office and Sherrie were congratulated on the recent CA Green Business Certification (CAGBN) at the Headquarter office in Glendale. The update also said CAGBN certification was received in Glendale and the San Diego home office, with Irvine in pursuit.

Repurposed office materials

Environment actions included repurposed materials, with old office products donated out of Glendale and new cubicles in Walnut Creek re-purposed. Walnut Creek buildout also included green strategies such as more sustainable product selection, construction waste management and recycling.

Employee training and safety

Social actions included a Safety Committee, training provisions for all employees via Citadel U, celebration events, LA Best places to work survey outreach and soliciting feedback, and the launch of the Healthy Merits program.

Corporate social responsibility day

On 12 June 2025, Daiichi Sankyo Singapore held a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative in partnership with SLEC Active Ageing Centre (Care) @ Anchorvale. Volunteers were paired with elderly participants and visited Gardens by the Bay, Jurassic Nest, the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome.
