In 2022, we proudly became the UK’s largest law firm (and the first outside of London) to become B Corp-certified.

Published impact reports

We publish ‘impact reports’ as part of our ongoing commitment to the B Corp movement. We are proud to present our 2023 report, which demonstrates the progress we’re making in terms of governance, diversity, sustainability, community and more.

Joined Race to Zero

Brabners is to become an official member of the United Nation’s (UN) Race to Zero campaign. Brabners became carbon neutral for the first time in 2020 and currently offsets any emissions it generates in partnership with woodland creation and carbon capture specialist Forest Carbon. It continues to make carbon reductions across its operations – including using 100% renewable energy and reviewing its travel and real estate strategies to improve environmental performance.

Supported community charities

The commitments form part of Brabners’ wider sustainability strategy, which closely aligns with international goals set out by the UN. These include reducing poverty through its charitable arm, the Brabners Foundation; ensuring all suppliers pay the real living wage; and supporting local communities through its employer-backed volunteer scheme.

Our Carbon Reduction Plan includes a commitment for us to reach net zero by 2040, which is ten years ahead of the Government's proposed deadline and in-line with the Paris Agreement and UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
