Boska Food Tools Sustainability Actions

Certified B Corpâ„¢

Since December 2022, BOSKA has been a certified B Corpâ„¢ company. This certification demonstrates that we prioritize value for people, the planet, and society. Together, we strive to make a positive impact on the world around us.

Thuiswinkel certification

BOSKA has obtained the Thuiswinkel Sustainability Certification. This certification confirms that we have been assessed on six key themes: our sustainability strategy, circular economy, sustainable product range, packaging, delivery, and returns.

Lifetime guarantee products

Our Food Tools are designed with a focus on quality and sustainability, and we offer a lifetime guarantee on our products. This ensures not only a long lifespan but also minimal environmental impact.

100% green energy use

At the Netherlands office, BOSKA uses 100% green energy generated from Dutch wind to reduce emissions by more than 60% compared to 2021.

CO2 emissions reduction

BOSKA also has a 14% decrease in CO2 emissions compared to 2021 related to commuting to and from the office, business travel, and creating the products, including processing, packaging and transport.

FSC-certified wood

That’s why we are increasingly using FSC®-certified wood (license code FSC-C191180). This wood comes from responsibly managed forests, ensuring they remain healthy for future generations.

Donation to charitable causes

Every year, BOSKA donates at least 0.1% of its revenue to charitable causes. We support local initiatives as well as international foundations like Sunday Foundation and Bake for Life, which empower communities through education, entrepreneurship, and social inclusion.

Partnership with Justdiggit

Additionally, we partner with organizations like Justdiggit, which works to green Africa and cool the planet. BOSKA’s program supports villages throughout the region, helping to make farming practices more sustainable and rehabilitates degrading landscapes.

Ferm Werk partnership

Since 2008, we have partnered with Ferm Werk, which provides employment opportunities for people who face challenges entering the workforce. This includes individuals with disabilities or those looking to reintegrate into the labor market. At BOSKA, various products are assembled and packaged at Ferm Werk.
