Presented new ESG strategy

On 17 December 2024, Juventus organised an event at the Allianz Stadium to present the new ESG strategy, “Black, White & More,” to more than 150 stakeholders, partners and associations, as well as numerous journalists. The strategy was described as a new philosophy representing what sustainability means to the Club.

Set six ESG pillars

The new ESG strategy is built on six fundamental pillars: Emissions in the Corner, Assist to Circularity, People First, Sustainable Glocal Club, Fan Centrality and Sustainable Leadership. These cover decarbonisation, circular economy initiatives, inclusion, local and global social impact, fan access and integrated governance.

Held inclusion round table

The event included a round table discussion on accessibility and inclusion, introduced by Juventus' People & Sustainability Manager. The discussion referred to the role of the Disability Access Officer and to accessibility and inclusion as a path already started to make the stadium experience memorable for everyone.

Embedded sustainability in design

Ware Malcomb states that sustainability is a key component of its services, from initial design processes to materials selection, with priorities including environmental stewardship, resource efficiency and resilience. It also says it manages its internal environmental footprint through energy efficiency, water conservation and waste reduction and recycling.

Joined AIA 2030 Commitment

Ware Malcomb signed the American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2030 Commitment, joining peers pledging to design buildings that achieve net-zero energy by 2030.

Built DEI and community work

Ware Malcomb says its DEI Team spearheads initiatives including community outreach, education and training, communication and events. It also offers scholarships and internships, and participates in EcoVadis and IntegrityNext business sustainability rating systems.

Engineered sustainability in data centres

Black & White Engineering says its approach to sustainable data centre engineering goes further than labels and aims to engineer measurable reductions in energy, water and carbon across the full lifecycle of every facility delivered. It also optimises PUE, WUE and CUE, designs for waste heat utilisation, and develops liquid cooling models.

Published Net Zero goal

Black & White Engineering says its Net Zero commitment is for its own global operations. By 2030, the goal for Black & White’s global operations will be Net Zero, with progress independently third-party assured annually.
