Atlantic Blankets Sustainability Actions

Uses recycled and natural fibres

Our blankets are crafted from recycled cotton, natural wool, and responsibly sourced fibres. Choosing recycled materials means using less water, generating less waste, and embracing circularity - keeping resources in use for longer.

Made in the UK

Every Atlantic Blanket is ethically made right here in the UK, in collaboration with mills and makers who share our values. By working closely with trusted partners, we ensure quality, care, and respect for people and the planet at every stage.

Produces in small batches

We produce in small batches to avoid overstock, creatively reuse fabric offcuts for future projects, and package our blankets in recyclable materials with thoughtful wrapping. Every choice is made with care to minimise waste and environmental impact.

Removes ocean-bound plastic

For every blanket you buy, we remove 10 ocean-bound plastic bottles through our partnerships with GoodAPI and Plastic Bank. We continually invest in ocean conservation projects to help protect the places we love.

Supports coastal wellbeing

Our team benefits from ‘Sea Days,’ a chance to recharge by the ocean and embrace its restorative power. Through initiatives like Sharing the Ocean, we support women to connect with and learn from the sea. We’re proud to be Guardians of Penhale Dunes and active members of Surfers Against Sewage, working alongside 250+ passionate advocates.

Recycled cotton from offcuts

Our eco sustainable recycled cotton blanket range is made in England using offcuts of unwanted cotton from t-shirt making factories. The scraps of fabric that would normally have been sent to landfill are instead given new life; recycled and reused.
