Certified B Corporation
Astep aps is a Copenhagen-based lighting design company founded in 2014 by Alessandro Sarfatti. It says it was created with a vision of timeless design objects with an innovative approach and environmental awareness. The company produces lighting for home interiors, offices and design spaces, with production in Italy. In 2023, Astep became a certified B Corporation, describing the certification as part of a continuous improvement process covering governance, workers, community, customers and the environment. It has also stated a commitment to circular design, lower-impact materials, repairability and reducing plastics in packaging.
