Adrift Hospitality SPC Sustainability Actions

Became a Social Purpose Corporation

In 2018, we became a Social Purpose Corporation, a type of for-profit corporation that legally enables us to place social and environmental considerations at the same level as fiscal decisions. Becoming a Social Purpose Corporation allows us to pursue a true triple bottom line, for people, planet, and profit.

Certified B Corporation in 2019

In 2019, we became a Certified B Corporation. Certified B Corporations® meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Certified B corporations® are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment.

Ocean-friendly certifications

We received our first Ocean Friendly designation in 2018 at Pickled Fish Restaurant and have continued to certify each of our businesses as we opened. All of our restaurants and hotels are certified ocean-friendly. In launching the Ocean Friendly Hotel program, Adrift Hospitality properties were the first to become certified!

Reduced single-use plastics

We source products and packaging that eliminate single-use plastics, instead using biodegradable and reusable options while encouraging our guests to use refillable drink containers.

Local sourcing and support

We proudly support local makers, artisans, farmers, and foragers by featuring their work in our hotels, restaurants, and distillery. By sourcing locally and supporting conservation, we foster responsible tourism that benefits both travelers and the communities they visit.
